Several cases we have been working on over the past year:

1. Noise at the construction site behind Malyi Ajax.

Those students who live on Malyi Ajax saw that a museum complex was being built near the campus. In winter, the noise from the construction site became unbearable. So in February 2019, we launched a campaign to stop the noise at nights. In January-February of this year, however, the noise began again, but this time less time and effort was spent on eliminating it.

2. Negotiating the dormitory prices

In summer of 2019, FEFU planned to increase prices for accommodation in dormitories on campus. After long negotiations, prices for accommodation were increased three times less than first planned. In the city dormitories, the price of accommodation has not been increased.

3. Development of the FEFU bus routes

In winter of 2019-2020, we began to develop campus-to-city bus routes. In our personal account, we conducted a survey in which all students could choose the most convenient route option. After the test launch of buses on the approved routes, in our VK group a discussion appeared, in which students and university staff wrote all their wishes for adjusting the routes. In September 2020, the routes were launched for the second time, taking adjustments into account. If you have any other suggestions for changing the work of the routes, write to the discussion page.

4. Transferring the university to online format

With the outbreak of the pandemic and the decision to switch the university to an online format of work. Together with the university, we created a team of IT volunteers. We requested information from teachers about the working conditions and their ability to conduct classes in the new format, advised them, and helped to eliminate any errors that appeared in the work on the Microsoft Teams platform.

5. Algorithm for collecting personal belongings from dormitories during a pandemic

We have developed an algorithm thanks to which students who have already left the campus could freely get their personal belongings without coming to Vladivostok.

6. Diplomas

This year, due to the postponement of the educational process, the following problem arose: university graduation diplomas were not ready by the time when in many universities of the country the admission committee for master's programs was coming to an end. We intervened in this process and most of the students who needed their diplomas super urgently received them on a priority basis.
